Chu Hsi is the master of ancient Chinese Confucianism,and he is the most outstanding master of Confucianism after Confucius.His academic ideology dominated the feudal society for centuries,and had an important influence on the official philosophical ideology and people's daily life.Chu Hsi especially pay attention to their own cultivation,Advocating the self-cultivation of respect.Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation is built on a certain theoretical basis,So as to be able to understand from the metaphysics on the basis of Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation.Then,the second part of this article directly discusses the main contents and internal structure of Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation.Through the analysis of the main contents and internal structure of Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation,so that we can respond to things in the better proof of justice,restraint of desires,improve our moral cultivation.Thirdly,the third part of this article compares Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation with the cultivation thoughts of Buddhism and Taoism,and realizes the fusion of Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation and Buddhism and Taoism,and discerns Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation and Buddhism and Taoism.Finally,the fourth part of this paper discusses the positioning of Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation in the history of Neo-Confucianism and the value of modern society.It is of great significance not only to study Keeping respect as a work for Chu Hsi's self-cultivation,but also to improve the moral cultivation of modern people and the improvement of social spirit in modern society.
