Tui xi and Li gu are two representative figures of Zhu xi’ s philosophy in North Korea,their cultivation are the inheritance and development of Zhu xi’ s philosophy just emphasis on the different ways.Tui xi is emphasis on "respect",using the cultivation ways of "cure the heart"and "restrain the effort" to recover the "temperament";Li gu is emphasis on "honesty",using the ways of "worship","pursuing the objective principle" and "practice diligently" to recover the "vital energy".All their final purposes are to realize "principle",and to achieve the cultivation state of "supreme good".Tui xi thinks that although the nature of human enter into the"temperament" of "nature ",from which we can distinguish the"nature".So-called "nature" is the body of "unperturbed mind".According to the Tui xi’s words,delivering the "nature" must be accordance with"principle" and " temperament ".At this time,"four beginnings" is delivering the "principle" with "temperament"."seven emotions" is"principle" inherented in the "temperment".Finally,Tui xi shows the"nature" more than "temperament","four beginnings" more than "seven emotions".In theory,it ensures the good of human beings,on the base of which builds and restores the cultivation theory of that good is the nature of human by "heart".Although Ligu emphasis that "respect" is throughout cultivating the effort,no mather move and silence,it also can concentrated on one thing.Li gu pays more attention on the "honesty","sincering the heart"is regard as the basic core of "self-cultivation".On the one hand,Li gu’ s method highlights the subject view of human,on the other hand,he tries to put the result of active by will into consideration,which concludes the whole process from the motivation to the result.The"honesty" of Li gu’s philosophy is basis of combination of pragmatic thought.The combination of "sincerity" and "pragmatic" tries to seek the appropriateness of ethic by the unity of knowledge and action,which affectes the modern pragmatic of South Korea in some extent.
