Parenthood is the most important social relations in youth development and growth, from the earliest to feel attachment to parents or to make the parents to be the example for our initially social behavior, parenthood plays a very important role in the process that the adolescent to recognize and adapt to the social all the time.Self esteem and self control are two variables that play an important role in the development of teenagers. For young people, their risk-taking behavior is not only dependent on the influence of family or individual factors, but by both.Previous studies have mostly studied the influence of environmental factors and individual factors on adolescent risk-taking behavior, and always choose the problem behavior as the dependent variable, but the risky behavior that social permitted got little attention. This research will examine how the parenthood, self esteem and self control impact the risk-taking behavior simultaneously. This study use cluster sampling method examined 878 students(476 boys and 402 girls, average age is 15.14 years old;217 students from Junior middle school,247 students from high school and 260 students from vocational school)from three schools in county town and assessed with the Chinese modified versions of the Network of Relationships Inventory,The The Adolescent Risk-taking Questionnaire,Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale(RSES)and Self-control Scale. Results as follows:(1)There was significant correlation between parent-child relationship and risk-taking behavior:Parent adolescent conflict can significantly predict the occurrence of problem behavior, and parent offspring support can significantly predict the occurrence of problem behavior;for the social risk behaviors of the young people, only the parent child support can predict the occurrence of the positive behavior, and there is no significant correlation between the parent-child conflict and the social risk behavior.(2)As a moderator variable, self esteem can regulate the relationship between parent adolescent conflict and adolescent problem behavior,High self-esteem adolescents show moreproblem behavior than low self-esteem adolescents in the process of increasing the conflict, however, the relationship between parental support and adolescent risk behavior can not be adjusted by self-esteem.For the social permitted risk taking behavior, the moderating effect is not significant, further analysis showed that self-esteem could regulate the relationship between father support and adolescent risk-taking behaviors.(3)Self control as mediator can completely intermediary The relationship between the interaction between parenthood and self-esteem and risk-taking behavior. The moderating effect of self-esteem is mediated by self control. There is no mediating effect on the social permitted risk-taking behavior.(4)For the relationship between parent adolescent conflict and adolescent problem behavior, the mediation model is established.According to the results of the study,we can find that the parent-child relationship is an important factor in adolescent risk-taking behavior,This environmental factor can be adjusted by the individual variable of self-esteem,and Self control as mediator can completely intermediary The relationship between the interaction between parenthood and self-esteem and risk-taking behavior. This suggests that parents should pay attention to the relationship between themselves and the young people, but also to the development of young people's self characteristics to attach great importance to.
