Adolescence is a critical period in the development of an individual's life, but also a high incidence of risk-taking behavior. Therefore,it is necessary to explore the factors that influence adolescent risk-taking behavior.Although previous studies have been carried out a certain amount of research, and made a lot of achievements, but there still are some room can be improved. For example,in the past, most of the parent-adolescent relationship indicators were parental monitoring, parenting style, while, other important indicators parent-adolescent support and parent-adolescent conflict were used less.Furthermore, there are many factors that influence adolescent risk-taking behavior, whereas the former researches mainly focus on one or several factors of personality and environment system. Thus, current study will take into account the self-control and temperament(fear)factors in the personality system and the family and peer factors in the environment system, and put forward a moderated mediation model,to examine the possible mediating role of self-control between parent-adolescent relationship and risk-taking behavior, and whether the deviant peer affiliation and fear moderating the mediating effect. In present study,1260 adolescents completed questionnaires measure of personal relationships in social networks,self-control ability, deviant peer affiliation, fear, and risk-taking behavior.Using SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis, the main results are as follows:(1)There was a significant negative correlation between parent-adolescent support and adolescent risk-taking behavior,meanwhile,parent-adolescent conflict and adolescent risk-taking behavior were significantly positively correlated.(2)There was significant grade difference in adolescen risk-taking behavior, specifically, with the increasing of grade,risk-taking behavior had the tendency to increase.(3)There was significant gender difference in risk-taking behavior,in particular, boys had more risk-taking behavior than girls.(4)Self-control played a mediating role in the relation between parent-adolescent relationship and adolescent risk-taking behavior,namely,parent-adolescent relationship indirectly influenced adolescent risk-taking behavior through self-control.(5)Deviant peer affiliation moderated the mediated path through self-control,namely this indirect effect was much stronger for adolescents affiliated with more deviant peers relative to those affiliated with fewer deviant peers.(6)Fear moderated the mediated path through self-control,that is to say, high fear reduced low self-control adolescent's risk-taking behavior, meanwhile, low fear facilitated adolescent's high self-control who supported by parents.
