Existential sentence is one of the special sentence patterns in Chinese. The existential sentence, which starts from the 50 s of last century,is studied and discussed as a kind of special sentence.“existential sentence” is called “sentence of being” before, and the change of its name reflects the change of scholars' understanding of this unique sentence pattern.Although there is no clear definition of the concept of existential sentences in modern Uyghur language,it is a relatively fixed sentence pattern with an existential meaning in Uygur language. The research results of experts and scholars laid the foundation for the research of this article. This article is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction which mainly introduces the related literature of this thesis. It takes the time as a clue, combs the research development of the Chinese existential sentence, summarizes the research results and characteristics of each stage of development, and it also introduces the existential sentence's general status of translation research, research methods and significance, corpus sources, the abbreviations and the labeling method of syntactic component. The second part introduces the sentence structure of existential sentences in modern Chinese and the existential meaning in Uygur language.Based on the views of Mr.Pan Wen,the article considers the time words of the initial sentence can act as the preceding paragraph of existential sentence, and as the subject of the existential sentence."Locative words + adjective aords" is not an existential sentence,a sentence constituted by "locative words + is + locative words" isn't an existential sentence, too. The locative word acting as the forepart of existential sentences with abstract meaning,is a existential sentence. The third part discusses the classification and translation of Chinese existential sentences in the song of youth.Based on the classification of Mr.Pan Wen and the corpus,it starts respectively from the existential sentence and the fugitive sentence, studying the corresponding expressions in Uygur language of existential sentences in the novel. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the research situation. In this article, the author considers that Chinese and Uyghur belong to different language families,Chinese pays more attention to parataxis, while Uygur language pays attention to hypotaxis. Therefore, there have very big difference among different languages for expression of existential sentences.Whether the existential sentences in Chinese novels or the sentences in the translated versions, they are mostly used to explain the stories and the layout of things, describing the appearance of the characters and the inner world of the characters, etc.Regardless of the original author or the translator, they all have their own unique language habits. Therefore, regardless of whatever expressions you use,as long as they can accurately express the meaning and content of the original, meeting the language expression habits of readers and their understanding or way of thinking in the process of translation practice, then the expressions are reasonable and comprehensible.
