The current study of sports psychology of aggression are still focused on basic research methods such as questionnaire investigation, observation, but experiment research is less. This study combined with The Strength Model of Self-control,which suggest that self-control is a limited resource, once used,it may lead to ego-depletion and may cause individuals produce more impulsive behavior and aggressive behavior.Through cognitive task and physical activity which could cause ego-depletion,and different methods of aggressive behavior measurement to explore the influence factors of aggression through the experimental design. In this study, three pre-desingned experiments and two formal experiments have been designed.Study One selected 82 college athletes, using the don't write horizontal task in pre-desingned experiment and negative score of the assistant, and 2(ego-depletion:yes,no)x 2(others' attitude:positive, negative)between groups design, studying the effect of ego-depletion and the attitude of opponents. The results showed:Ego-depletion played a main effect significantly, the participants who experienced ego-depletion gave lower scores to assistant than those who didn't.Others' attitude played a main effect significantly, the participants who received negative evaluation gave lower scores to assistant than those who received positive evaluation, and the interaction between ego-depletion and others' attitude was marginal significant, the participants who experienced ego-depletion gave lower scores to assistant than those who didn't when they received negative evaluation, but with positive evaluation wasn't.Study Two selected 73 college athletes, using the power cycling task in pre-desingned experiment and competitive reaction task,3(the strength of ego-depletion:high,middle,low)×2(others' attitude:positive, negative)between groups design, studying the effect of the strength of ego-depletion and the attitude of others. The results showed:Ego-depletion played a main effect significantly, the participants who experienced the ego-depletion of high level set longer noise to their opponent than those who experienced middle and low level, but there was no significant difference between middle and low level.Others' attitude played a main effect significantly, the participants who received negative evaluation set longer noise to their opponent than those who received positive evaluation, and the interaction between ego-depletion and others' attitude wasn't significant. The result showed that the others attitude has a direct impact to aggression, and ego-depletion can effect aggressive behavior negatively,in the depletion task which need self-control to overcome the habit, others' attitude act as moderator upon the relationship between ego-depletion and aggressive behavior, positive attitude can compensate ego-depletion effectively. But in physical exercise task, the moderate effect of others' attitude was not reflect. It may also be the reason that with matches going, the strength of depletion of the athletes was getting more, and aggression were more and more gradually. The result suggest us to pay more attention to the athletes' self-control training and compensation of the ego-depletion and focus on the race, using the reasonable way to alleviate depletion of the athletes,in order to reduce and avoid the happening of aggression effectively.
