With the improvement of people’s living standard, people pay more and more attention to sports events, and constantly join in sports. However, the situation in sports is unpredictable, body collision and verbal friction are inevitable.Once not handled properly,it will evolve into bad aggressive behavior, which will bring different degrees of physical and mental injury to the attacked, and affect the push of sports. So it is widely concerned.Based on the I~3theory of aggressive behavior, this study investigates the characteristics of College athletes’aggressive behavior in specific situations, analyses the relevant influencing factors, and finds out the causes and internal mechanism of aggressive behavior, which consists of three studies.Study 1:197 college students Were required to finish the questionnaires to explore the relationship between the three factors:hostility attribution bias and self-control and aggression tendency. The results showed that aggression tendency and hostility attribution bias were significantly positively correlated with self-control.Study 2:Fifty-six undergraduates were tested. The hostility attribution bias and ego depletion were manipulated by using 2×2 experimental design. The aggressive behavior was measured by behavioral indicators. The results showed that the main effects of hostility attribution bias and ego depletion were significant, which could affect aggressive behavior independently. The obvious interaction was found, that is,the higher the hostility attribution bias, the higher the ego depletion,The more aggressive will be.Consistent with the hypothesis,it shows that hostility attribution bias and ego depletion have important effects on aggressive behavior.Study 3:The provoked situation was used as the background stimulus, and the hostility attribution bias questionnaire was used to screen the high and low hostility attribution bias group.Finally,60 college students were used as the research object, and the 2×2 experimental design was used to explore the attribution of hostility in the sports situation. The effects of hostile attribution bias and ego depletion on aggression, the main effects of hostile attribution bias and ego depletion are significant. Conclusion:First, the high degree of attribution of individual hostility tends to classify other people’s intentions as hostile, generating an attack impulse. When ego depletion is high,it will uncontrollably produce higher attack behavior.Second, narrowing down to the group of college athletes,it is also found that hostile attribution bias and ego depletion have a direct impact on the generation of aggressive behavior. That is,high hostility attribution bias or ego depletion can directly generate higher attack behavior. The findings of this study also provide a new idea for athletes and coaches. They should pay attention to the hostility attribution bias and ego depletion of athletes on the field or daily training. It also provides a certain degree for maintaining the harmonious development of sports and reducing the attack behavior. And provide some empirical research for the I~3theory.
