| Negative adverbs of modern Chinese is an important way to express in our daily communication,and it is also one of the focal points and difficulties for students in Thailand to learn Chinese.Although the most commonly used negative adverbs in Chinese "Bu" "Mei" and "Bie" all indicate negative meanings,they have their own characteristics in the specific usage.In Thai,(?)and(?),which is used to forbid acts,have the widest range of application.(?)is like Chinese negative adverbs,they all lie before a verb or an adjective.However,(?)can’t be equated with "Bu" "Mei" and "Bie"in the different usages of time,mood,or subjective and objective conditions.This correspondence between(?)and three negative words in Chinese often causes over representation mistakes when Thai students learn "Bu" "Mei" and "Bie".This thesis,which is based on the former researches,compared and analyzed the usage of "Bu" "Mei" "Bie" and(?).It tested the Thai students’ acquisition of Chinese negative adverbs by the way of questionnaire.The survey found that acquisition errors are the most common when learning negative adverbs "Bu" "Mei" and "Bie".There are three types of errors,errors between"Bu" and "Mei",errors between "Bu" and "Bie",and errors between "Mei" and "Bie",among which errors between "Bu" and "Mei" has the highest mistake rate.There are three main causes that lead to these errors.First,the negative transfer of native knowledge.Chinese negative words and Thai negative words are similar in structure but different in meaning.Second,the complexity of Chinese itself.Chinese Negative Adverb "Bu" "Mei" and "Bie" has many uses,which makes it difficult for students to study.Third,problems arising in the course of teaching.High mobility of Chinese teachers,local teachers’ professional levels,the shortage of school textbooks,unreasonable arrangement of textbooks,and poor consciousness of students are also the important causes of errors.To reduce these errors,first of all,we should reduce the analogy of these two languages from the teaching and learning two aspects.Secondly,teachers should pay attention to distinguish the stages of teaching,and use the corresponding teaching methods according to different teaching links.Thirdly,it is also important that teachers improve their professional level constantly.Last but not least,the school should pay more attention to Chinese teaching,in order to guide students to learn Chinese better.By analysing the different types of errors for Thai students studying Chinese negative adverbs and why the mistakes are caused,the thesis put forward some strategies to reduce the errors.It is hoped to provide some references for Chinese teaching to Thai students,so as to promote further communication between Chinese and Thai language and culture and make contribute to the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
