| As an universal psychological phenomenon,it is not only one of the core concepts of positive psychology,but also one of the 24 positive personality traits and personality superiority recognized by positive psychology scholars,which has an important influence on people’s mental health.And Hope Trait refers to the level of hope that can be cross-environment,across the time.Studies have shown that individuals with high levels of Hope Trait can find alternative ways to achieve the desired goals and mitigate the impact of risk factors on mental health.Nowadays,junior high school students face a huge academic pressure and a variety of network information flooding,it is easy to produce a negative self-resulting in junior high school students prone to self-abandonment,also cause the psychological frustration of junior high school students,effecting their Mental health.In this context,this study was mainly based on Snyder’s theory of hope,and the “ high school students hope special scale” Tian Lijuan translated Snyder et al prepared,and Professor Wang Jisheng prepared“middle school student mental health scale”(MSSMHS)two questionnaires,in which 45 junior high school students were subjected,the subjects were randomly divided into experimental group,control group one and control group two,and each group consists of 15 people.In the experimental group,the intervention of group counseling was conducted,and there was no group intervention for control group 1,and no intervention was made to control group 2.The results showed that:(1)It was hoped that group counseling intervention can improve the students’ hope and mental health level effectively,and the effect of path thinking was better than dynamic thinking.(2)Group counseling improved the interpersonal sensitivity and depression of junior high school students,but there was no significant effect on the improvement of the desired level of traits.(3)The variance analysis and multiple comparisons of the experimental group and the control group 1and the control group 2 showed that the group counseling had better effect on the college students’ hope and mental health level than the group counseling intervention.Finally,the shortcomings of this study were analyzed and suggestions were made for future research directions. |
