A Study On Chu Wanghua’s Adaptation Of Folk Songs In The Piano Music

Chu Wanghua is a famous composer and pianist in china.He was born in 1940 s,and his piano career dominated the piano.Chu Wanghua’s piano works always revolve around "Chinese style"".The piano solos are based on folk songs from various parts of china.During the four periods of his writing,a large number of folk elements were adapted from the piano.With their strong Chinese characteristics and style,these adaptations have become a common repertoire in today’s piano teaching and a repertoire commonly used in piano concerts.This article discusses Chu Wanghua’s personal experience,the main piano works and style features of Chu Wanghua’s four periods.Then Chu Wanghua Piano Transcriptions from the folk songs elements composing techniques are divided into three categories,from the three kinds of selection of representative works detailed analysis of musical structure and creative features of the music accompanied by.Finally,combined with their own performance practice,the author analyzes the performance techniques of Chu Wanghua’s folk elements Piano Transcriptions from three levels.Folk elements of Chu Wanghua’s Piano Transcriptions of inherit and carry forward the essence of national music,the Western musical instruments piano,traditional western composition techniques and the characteristics of folk music perfect fusion,has far-reaching value and significance on the development of China piano music.
