Sanbao Eunuch's Journey To The West Ocean is written by Luo Maodeng,which is based on the true story of the history of Zheng He's seven trips to the western seas.So far,there is no scholar who has paid attention to the heterogeneous phenomenon in this novel or made philological studies of it.This paper will make a systematic study of the phenomenon of different text phenomenon appearing in the novel from a new perspective.This article is mainly divided into five parts to study the difFerent text of the Western Ocean.The first part mainly discusses the research status of Western Record and "variants"Western",the purpose and significance of the research topic,as well as the research methods and research ideas.The second part introduces the author Luo Maodeng's life and his works,the background of the Western Records and the spread of different editions.Then describes the meaning of the text,and classifies variants of the text in the Western according to its content in detail.The third part mainly researches on the variant Western Record between different versions by comprehensive analysis.And research is mainly conducted from three major aspects:philology,lexicology and collation.The research on different meanings of the philology is mainly about the different characters,the use of false words,vulgar words and other types of words,among which the vulgar word is a highlight;The research on lexical meaning of the different text is mainly from two aspects:similar meaning class variants and inverse class variants;The research on the different collation sense is mainly studied from two aspects:erroneous words and drop of words.among which the vulgar erroneous word is a highlight,The fourth part mainly compares the choice of words on the same content between the different versions of the Western Notes and the Notes of the West with comparative methods.The comparative study of Western and Class is mainly carried out from the seven parts:"Yu Fu","Yu Fu","Xing Fu","Zhou Fu","Niu Fu","Shan Fu" and "Xiang Fu".The fifth part is the conclusion,which summed up the value of this article and its shortcomings through the previous four chapters,especially the third chapter and the fourth chapter.The paper makes a study of the common words in the text,distinguishes the words and the same word with different spelling,finds out the clue of the development of Chinese history and demonstrates its value in the study of Chinese language,through the study of the phenomenon of dissimilarity in the Western Notes;The paper use the textual variants in Western to clarify some difficult words,finding out the evolution of individual characters and summarizing the evolution law of some characters;What' s more,the paper points out some interchangeable variants between different versions of the novel and some of the errors in different version,presenting the correct usage as well;The lack of semantic meaning of some words in a dictionary or dictionary is also added,which enriches the use of words in some degree.All those contribute to making the novel more accurate,getting close to the original version and comprehending the novel more easily.The research also finds specific choices of words or pattern of word choices appearing in the different versions,which will provide more detailed information for other scholars to study articles of the corresponding age and makes the whole variant system more substantial.
