Content:It is a great heroic act on the history of human civilization exchanges that Zheng He descended the western. And Sanbao Eunuch's journey to the west ocean is a long novel about this history matter .It is another famous work of Gods and spirits of Ming Dynasty after Journey to the West and The historical novel about granting titles to the absolute beings. By reading and comparing carefully, we try to study the form of this novel from Narratology and Stylistics angles, and analyze the reason that why it has such a form, then announce to public what position it is on the history of the development of the forms of the ancient and long novels in China. After analysing carefully, we find that the author of Sanbao Eunuch's journey to the west ocean adopted and combined together a lot of stories which could be found in other novels, so that his work has obvious characteristics of mergence of genres and intertexuality; Along with various rhetorics, such as symmetry, parallelism, pun and parody, he used a kind of language which is both humorous and jokey, both refined and vulgar , mixed vernacular with much classical Chinese. On the one hand, the novel is very interesting, forceful and unrestrained, but on the other hand, it is indescribable, bothersome and trivial. We think all the shortcomings of the novel are resulted from the change of the reader's interest at that time, the influence of the development of the publish industry of Ming dynasty, the author's familiarity with traditional opera and Buddhist sacred literature, the topic's and literary style's restrictions. Finally, we think that Sanbao Eunuch's journey to the west ocean is not only a folk narrative prose written by a man of letter, but also a personal artistic which sometimes takes the trace of accumulate ones. Sanbao Eunuch's journey to the west ocean promoted the booming of the novel's of Gods and spirits in the late Ming Dynasty, however, it did not improve the declining norms of stylistics and increase the appearance of its art.
