Contemporary Chinese Idol Worship And Its Ethical Guidance

Youth is the hope of the nation,undertaking the historical task of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Adolescents are the future of the motherland and the backbone of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Their ideological movements and words and deeds will have an important impact on the future social development.So much attention is paid to their growth.At the same time idol worship is a popular phenomenon in young people,affecting the youth world outlook,outlook on life,values shaping.Based on the current situation of adolescent idolatry,this paper explores the ethical guidance of adolescent idol worship,in order to improve the current adolescent idol worship phenomenon.The first part of this article systematically expounded the concept.Idol is the individual or group self-selection and recognition by the extreme respect,admiration or extreme appreciation,like and longing for the visualization of the personality symbol.According to whether the idols exist or not,they can be divided into virtual characters Idols or real people idols.Virtual characters idol is no real form of people or things,and there is no basis for the real characters of the idol in the real world now or in the history of the existence of people or things.But real people idol is in the real world now or in the history of the existence of people or things.There are people in their imagination,literary processing part;according to the range of idols,they can be divided into international idols and national idols;according to the idol worship content,they can be divided into ideological idol and behavioral idol;according to idol worship nature,they can be divided into production Idol and consumer idol.Idol has the characteristics of identity,perfection,epoch,symbolism.Worship is a manifestation of the behavior of individuals or groups that show extreme respect,admiration,appreciation,longing for psychology,emotion,and the behavior of a particular personality.Worship has its psychological basis and is the product of the consciousness of human self.People make up for the lack of reality through some kind of person or thing worship and gain access to spiritual pleasure,but if both the spirit satisfaction and the achievement of value depend on the worship idol,it will lead to blind worship and jealousy fanaticism.Idol worship is that the individuals have social identity and emotional attachment to the dominant people,idol worship has a direct imitation,full acceptance,indulgence attachment,to meet the vanity and other characteristics.Idol worship can be developed in the history of the river and can be recoganized by the individual and social identity,and there must be the inevitability of its existence.Idol worship has the functions of self-identity and social identity,regulate individual behavior,reflecting the role of humanistic care.The second part of this paper discusses the evolution,reason and influence of adolescent idol worship in China.Since the founding of new China,the object of adolescent worship in China has been constantly changing.During the early days of the founding of new China from 1950 s to the 1960 s,because China experienced a war,the individual concern is the country's prosperity,economic recovery,political leaders,and heroes naturally become adolescent idols.1966 to 1976 is China's political fanatical "Cultural Revolution" decade,and Mao Zedong is the only idol,whose personal idol role was deified.During the late 1970 s to the late 80 s,China carry out the implementation of reform and opening up.Because of long-term lack of culture,science and technology,the Chinese people carry out the worship of knowledge,and the object of adolescent worship this time is intellectuals.After the 1990 s,with the development of the socialist market economy,the rise of individualism,the emergence of postmodernism,the weakening of the authoritative effect,the substitution of popular culture for the elite culture,the socialization of the society,the political color of idolatry weakens.Entertainment stars and sports stars become the object of adolescent worship,and "consumer" entertainment idol become the mainstream of this era.The adolescent idolatry of our country is mainly composed of style stars,outstanding people worship,parents' family worship,self worship,illusion worship.On the whole,the value orientation of adolescent idolatry is positive,positive,upward,close to the example of worship.Adolescent idol worship has super utilitarian and non-secular.Collecting idol data and sharing idol information is the main way of adolescent idol worship.The need for the growth of adolescents,the prevalence of utilitarianism and the lack of humanistic care in school education,and the development of mass media culture constitute the cause of adolescent idol worship.Adolescent idol worship will have both positive and negative effects on young people's values,marriage and consumer attitudes.The third part of this paper discusses the deviation of adolescent idol worship and its guiding strategy.Adolescents idol worship has cognitive errors and emotional obsession,consumerism prevails,external appreciation and other negative phenomenon,which will lead to young people blind worship,superstitious authority,the lack of independent judgment spirit,hindering the development of individual freedom,even losing self-nature,increasing the economic burden.It is necessary to guide the phenomenon of adolescent idol worship in our country,strengthen the education of adolescents' media quality and improve the professional ethics of the mass media.The idol characters should regulate their own behaviors and strengthen moral self-discipline.The school education should guide and focus on the humanistic care of young people.
