Research On Water-Control And Water Conservancy Investment Of Jinbao River Of Daqing River During Late Qing

Daqing river is one of the main water system in Chihli area.It has numerous branches.The part of Jinbao river is an important section of Daqing river and it is formed by the main stream and branches of Daqing river.Jinbao river run through east and west,and it is the main river which could lead to Baoding.In history,it functioned flood-control,irrigation and shipping.According to historical records,Daqing river was close to Yongding to the north,and Hutuo to the south.Because it was always affected by the two river which caused Daqing river silting up by mud and sand and resulted in flood.the flood was the diffilult point for governance.In addition,the Daqing river itself had flourishing river system and plentiful water,including its function which were water storage and irrigation,all that provide advantageous natural conditions for the development of agriculture.This article hackle the Daqing river system in classification and clear its distribution of branches.Taking the part of Jinbao as the research center,beginning with the flood control and the development of water conservancy,consulting the revelent studies of predecessors and with the help of local records,archives,memorial to the throne,making all that to analyze the characteristics and limitations of the part of Jinbao's water-control and water conservancy investment which carried out by late Qing government.As far as the period of time is concerned,this article start with Jiaqing and focus on Guangxu.In terms of research contents,this article emphatically analyzes the causes and manifestations.Through sorting out the datas to list some ways to control flood,and finding out the people who lived near the river is how to use Daqing river to develop the irrigation works.In terms of research meaning,Through the study of Jinbao's water-control and water conservancy investment to highlight the problem of consciousness and sum up its development limitation.That is work in concert with the whole social background of China.At last,I hope that this research can promote the future development of water conservancy.Today,the development of urbanization is more and more inseparable from the useness and management of water.Through looking the flood which occurred in Beijing,Shijiazhuang,Xingtai and Handan in recent two years and emergency management policy which carried out by government,we can find that people's attention to water-control is not so high,government's management system is not so perfect,and government's ability to deal with emergency is not so strong.Although I'm not a professional student of water conservancy,I want to restore the true face of the similar situation through historical level,analyze the close relationship between human and water and deep the concept of coexistence of people and water.
