“The school-detention of Qingyuan period” arose in the early Southern Song Dynasty when ruled by Ningzong age.Han Tuozhou,with his obtained power,tried to put an end to the political position and social influence brought by Neo-Confucianism,and actively supported his cronies and colleagues to take vengeance on Neo-Confucianism masters.Facing the sinister political environment,masters of Neo-Confucianism and their disciples stood still proudly,or retired from public life,while others are defected to others or fudged.The paper consists of three chapters,discussing the disciples in risk.Chapter one introduces the background,process and nature of“the school-detention of Qingyuan period”;starting from the introduction on conflicts before the school-detention,reaction and destinies of disciples and spirits in risks,chapter two talks about their living situation at that time;chapter three discusses the relationship between disciples and Neo-Confucianism.Facing the waning Neo-Confucianism,Zhuzi led disciples to compile books and actively learned and developed the ideas in their academy.The paper combs,refines and integrates historical data by grasping globally,analyzing historical materials,texts and data,on the basis of it,survival situations of disciples are studied.The paper might help us to understand the survival conditions of ancient intellectuals under the coercion as well as the relationship between academy and politics.
