The Translation And Annotation Of Runic Inscription Of Yenisei And First Exploration Of Its Related Social Culture

The Runic inscription of Yenisei means the ancient inscriptions found in the areas along Yenisei River.So far until now,there are 145 kinds of ancient inscriptions found in the areas along Yenisei River.These inscriptions offered the first-hand materials about the local clans(mainly Kirghiz)and their tribal alliances.The researches from Malov and Kormushin about the inscriptions of Yenisei were most extraordinary.Besides,lots of scholars both abroad and domestic devote to such realm.So far about the research,though some foreign scholars' researches were comparatively deeper and some monographs and thesis have been written.Some problems still need to be discussed.Especially,the domestic research about Runic Inscriptions is not deep,it could say,still in the preliminary course.Throughout the research both abroad and domestic,lots of problems still need to make a deeper research.In this thesis,On the basis of Malov and Kormushin,the author chose 50 inscriptions,and then makes Latin transcriptions,translation,annotation and the research about the related social problems.The problems include:the age of the inscriptions,which tribe the inscriptions belong to;and the social organization the inscriptions shows;the family phrases showed by the inscriptions;the relationship with the neighboring countries;the local economy showed by the inscriptions;religion(shamanism)reflected in the inscriptions;the rites of passage and records of the killing stone are reflected in the inscriptions.The Runic Inscriptions of Yenisei River and the tribes and clans settled near the head water,especially related to the Kirghiz written by Chinese historical materials.Reading through this thesis could know the society,economy,politics,military,and culture and so on about the tribes settled near the head water of Yenisei River,and it could also fill the vacancy of the Chinese historical materials.
