Research Of Yuan Shu Group In The Late Han Dynasty

Yuan Shu Group was an active and important warlord in the Eastern Han Dynasty.Yuan Shuang Group benefited from Yuan Shu’s reputation,good at allied forces,which can quickly rise and have the strength to be underestimated.The usurping power incident is the turning point of the rise and fall of Yuan Shuang Group.The collapse of Yuan Shu Group is followed by the results of abuses in the late Han Dynasty.The first chapter mainly discusses the formation and development of Yuan Shu Group.The first section briefly describes the background of the rise of Yuan Shu Group.In the case of empress relatives and the eunuchs joint with each other,He’s group defeated Dong’s group won the victory of the new emperor dispute in the sixth year of Zhong-Ping.Then the group plunged into the conflict between the internal eunuch and the tyranny forces.Becasue of the internecine result of eunuchs and empress relatives,Dong Zhuo,Yuan Shuo and Yuan Shao who were subordinate to He Jin were to rise.Dong Zhuo forced Yuan Shuo and Yuan Shao out of Luoyang,opened the prelude to the Eastern Han Dynasty march melee.The second section briefly describes the early activities of Yuan Shu Group.Yuan Shu went to Nanyang to resist Dong Zhuo so Yuan Shu Group began to form.Relying on the former subordinates of Huben and the attatching of Sun Jian,Yuan Shuang group is irresistible,continuously defeating Dong Zhuo.With the moving capital of Changan,two Yuan became to fight with each other.Yuan Shu unite Sun Jian,Gongsun Zan and Tao Qian while Yuan Shao unite Cao Cao,Zang Hong and Liu Biao,formed the confrontation between the two major military alliance.Yuan Shu first won and then became defeated.After Cao Cao defeated Yuan Shu at Fengqiu,Yuan Shu completely lost Jingzhou,which strategic focus turned to Xuzhou and Yangzhou.The second chapter focuses on the issue of the usurping power of Yuan Shu Group.The first section analyzes the background reason of Yuan Shu.Yuan Shu defeated Chen Wen,Liu Yao,Liu Bei,and united Lu Bu,Zhang Ba.He had eight counties,and crossed Xu,Yang,Yu three states ushered in the heyday.The strength of the military and the surrounding good situation made Yuan Shu Group have a capital of usurping power.Cao Cao invaded Yuan Shu into the Yuzhou and greeted the emperor to Xuchang,which caused a heavy political pressure to Yuan Shu,directly led to the decesion of the usurping power.With the support of trusted followerand part of forces,Yuan Shu Group defeated opposition and made the decesion of the usurping power.The usurping power incident is actually the expression of the decline of Han concept and the rise of the concept of replacing the Han Dynasty and Yuan’s"political at home" private thinking.The second section describes the military action after the incident.The rebellion of Lu Bu and Sun disrupted the Yuan Shu’s strategy.After the defeat of Xuzhou and Qiyang,Yuan Shu group thus quickly turned to decline.The third chapter focuses on the collapse of Yuan Shu Group and the reasons.Yuan Shu died in Jiangting so Yuan Shu group went to self-disintegration.The first section mainly describes the trend of the internal members of Yuan Shu Group after its collapse.Generally,the fate of its members is that famous men followed with Cao Cao because of the prestige of the emperor and the other forces are more prone to Sun.Besides,some former subordinates of Yuan Shu Group went into the mountains,independent in Jianghuai,and formed the buffer zone between Sun and Cao,so that the two could develop smoothly.Therefore the collapse of the Group objectively promote the rise of Sun and Cao.The second section is the reasons for the collapse of Yuan Shu Group.Yuan Shu group composition was complex and the internal struggle was serious.The divergence of the usurping power aggravate the contradiction and led to Sun Ce’s rebellion.The military measures of Yuan Shu Group have serious flaws.No hostage,hereditary leadership and the temporary collection of grain made Yuan Shuang Group suffered lots of struggle.Yuan’s own randomness and loosening made him know its disadvantages but could not changed anything which ultimately led to the collapse of the group.This is the embodiment of Yuan’s character and also the continuation of abuses in the late Han Dynasty.The last part is the re-examined of historical image of Yuan Shu.The history of the Yuan Dynasty image can be roughly summarized as four points:"arrogance""extravagance" "mad" "randomness".This is the embodiment of knight in powerful family and the abuses in the Han Dynasty.But Yuan image was demonized obviously.Yuan was arrogant,but he knew etiquette.Yuan liked luxuries,but he is not so much.Yuan was mad but he was once loyalty to the Han Dynasty.Due to historian prejudice,Yuan Shu was widely denounced,which is undoubtedly one-sided.
