Word usage error has always been the key and difficult point of vocabulary semantic and grammar instruction in teaching Chinese as foreign language.The different meanings,diversity functions of the same word in Chinese Language,leading to the changes of part of speech and etc.will bring this or that kinds of interference,which caused the different types of errors during the acquisition process for the second language learner.The word,"Hai shi",that is both an adverb and conjunction word,is to be taken as a case for doing the quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis in the light of the word,"Hai shi" errors in the HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.It starts with the multifunction word "Hai shi" from its usage of adverb and conjunction,integrates the affection of the vagueness in meaning and the subjective factors in pragmatics resulted in the fixed word position,to do a qualification check analysis for the error types within the certain scope of corpus,in order to find out the reason for the errors,work out a coping strategy to solve the problem,and try to provide a feasibility teaching design thought,so as to provide a reference for the acquisition instruction of the similar word usage.This paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1,it is to generally introduce the selected topic basis and the view of research,to position the starting point of the research,and to put forward the research ideas.Chapter 2,firstly it is to proceed from the multi-angle research status of the word,"Hai shi" so as to lead to making a point,and then describe and explain the syntactic,semantic and pragmatics characteristics of the word,"Hai shi" in its different functions,in order to provide the regular basis for the sorting and analysis of those errors corpus within the particular scope.Chapter 3,it is to classify the errors for leaners acquisition the word,"Hai shi".It is analyzed and summarized into the three types of errors,missing word,wrong word,and multi word of the word,"Hai shi".The wrong word section will compare and analyse the word,"Hai shi" with others similar words like "Hai you","huo/huo zhe","still","and","but" in meaning and usage,in order to preferably grasp the word,“Hai shi” in semantic and pragmatics,avoid and reduce the errors generated.Chapter 4,it is to mainly analyse the error reason of the word,"Hai shi" acquisition and put forward the teaching strategy.The reasons include negative transfer of native language,the regulation generalization of the target language,the affection of the teaching materials design,and the impact of some teachers’ instructing methods in the class and etc.Some suggestions are made with practicing from easy to hard and repeatedly,presenting briefly and succinctly and ensuring plenty of practices,and intensifying the pattern teaching of the paired and related words and etc.Chapter 5,it is a summary part.Particularly it is summarized and discussed with the research results of this paper,and at the seam time,it points out the problems in the existing research of this topic and the direction of future research in this field. |
