The Construct Of Humanistic Literary Trends In The 1980s

The nineteen- eighties is an important turning period of Chinese contemporary literature. As the main literary trend of this period, the humanism has suffered from unprecedented challenges. There exists a constantly entangled historical relationship between humanism and "May fourth Movement". Besides, among "Humanism", "the Seventeen Literature " and "Cultural Revolution", there is a spiritual gap that is difficult to fill up. All these factors result in the polysemy and complexity of its development in the 1980s. According to the specific development situation of humanism in the 1980s, this paper tries to explore its origins, the evolution of its creation and relevant literary criticism from the language background, experiences of its work, the practices of the theories and so on. This breaks the simplified evaluations on the 1980s humanism by the previous research and re-examine the complexity of humanism in the 1980s.
