| Recent years, with China’s development in economy and culture, Chinese has gained a more and more important status on international community. As a result, Teaching Chinese as a Second language has become a significant part of education field. Although we have plenty studies in culture teaching, less fruits emerged in the past 30 years. Based on preview studies, this paper collects document literature about Language Teaching, Second Language Teaching,Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and Teaching Chinese Cultural for Foreigners, and combines them with related teaching practice to analyze and conclude. Specifically, this paper consists of five parts:The first part is introduction, which includes reason and meaning of the topic selected, summary and method of the study. In this part, the reason and meaning of study in culture teaching for foreigners are explained; domestic and overseas research progress of this field is concluded; studying methods used in this paper are listed. The second part states current situations and problems in Teaching Chinese Cultural Factors for Foreigners by analyzing culture syllabus, teaching methods, teachers and textbook compilation. Further,it sums weakness appearing in those fields. The third part comes up with remedial measures in teaching practice, trying to conduct culture teaching for foreigners more effective and making cultural factors teaching serve language teaching better. In the fourth part, a part of cultural factors in the lesson from the representative textbook in primary stage of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is selected for case study. And advises from former part are used in teaching plan designed on one chapter from this book. The fifth part is conclusion, summarizing the whole paper, and rethinking deficiencies in this paper. |
