Making the higher vocational education in our country balance and rapid development is an important topic of the current vocational education to break through, and also is a focus for teachers in common course, especially in public course. However, in the actual teaching process, vocational students' English learning situation of worrying and teachers' teaching method such as single teaching mode is not optimistic. Applying questioning this method of teaching in higher vocational public English classroom teaching is to solve the above problem and a chance to find the answer. At first, this paper adopts the literature method to collect, sort out, comparison, induction and analysis for the relevant theory, which provides the necessary and sufficient study basis for the thesis and theoretical background; Secondly, from the different aspects of teachers and students, adopts questionnaire survey method and interview method to the teaching of higher vocational colleges teaching status of public English classroom questioning by questionnaire survey and interviews, specifically analysis of the current questioning in higher vocational public English classroom teaching. Then sums up why questioning cannot be very good use. On the basis of this, puts forward how to enhance and improve higher vocational public English teachers for the application of question teaching method. In this paper, it is of important theoretical value and practical significance that how to apply to questioning in higher vocational public English classroom teaching.
