The online and offline blending learning model has appeared in people’s vision due to the widespread use of internet in the late 1990 s.Since then,experts and scholars which from domestic and foreign have set off an upsurge in Blending learning research.Since the 21 st century,as Internet technology has become more mature,online learning websites and learning software have appeared in an endless stream,which provides great technical support for online teaching and breaks the limitations of teaching time and space.On the one hand,offline teaching makes up the lack of systematic practicality and delayed interaction in online teaching.On the other hand,it is particularly important to combine online and offline teaching modes.As an important part of tertiary education,higher vocational colleges are constantly promoting the application of online and offline blending learning models in the teaching process.The first chapter of this paper describes the background and significance of the blended teaching model research,the research method and explains the concepts of blending-learning,higher vocational college and higher vocational public English class.In the Second chapter,by using the method of literature analysis,the current status of online and offline blending learning models of domestic and foreign is summarized and higher vocational teachers,higher vocational students,and higher vocational public English classroom are analyzed.On this basis,in the third and fourth chapters,two classes of Shanxi Vocational College of Information Technical were conducted online and offline Blending learning experimental research by using the educational experiment method and other auxiliary methods.Through the pre-test,post-test and T-test,the experimental conclusions are drawn.And in Chapter 5,based on the experimental results,putting forward some suggestions on how to use blending learning mode for higher vocational teachers and students.In the sixth chapter,this paper reflects on how to improve the experiment,and provides researchers a direction for further research.
