Illustrator is a graphic art form of language to convey information, was first used in the book, attached to its complement and help text information, subject to content restrictions, to a certain extent in favor of decorative and beautifying function. With the development of society, Illustrator has been applied to all aspects of the design, and books have found a broader commercial space. In the era of information explosion, graphics to visualize text information, and brand information through an intuitive, fun, lively way to convey to the audience. Illustration as an important form of graphic language, in terms of brand image and design play an important role in the construction.Nowadays, more and more people paying attention to their spiritual life, in order to improve their quality of life. Tourist attraction bustling crowds at home and abroad well proved that consumers keen to travel. In recent years the State at all levels of Government, the large film production tourism promotional video, using Visual language is part of the area's famous attractions and specialty products, hoping to catch the eye of consumers. Brand image contains many forms of expression, but domestic tourism brand image building is mostly in the form of film language, realization of the single brand image. Illustration of visibility and dynamic image, color, structure, could hold consumers attention, unconscious consumer concern is raised, forming deep brand impression, to provide consumers with better service, to provide effective support for the development of the tourism industry competitiveness.Exploring illustration art trends in this paper, analysis of the basic characteristic, expression and form, as well as applications in graphic design, from the point of view of commercial brands and the analysis of tourist consumption psychology of illustration and brand the possibility and the advantages of tourism, as well as illustration of the application of principles based on the tourism brand image. Based on an existing rationale, analysis of real success stories, and I am a graduate of practical design illustration, exploring the importance of illustration in the brand design of tourism.
