Fei Xihuang was a poet in the early Qing Dynasty.His ancestral home was in Xinfan Sichuan province.He was the second son of FeiMi who was the adherents of the Ming Dynasty.XiHuang’s life experiences,poetic theory,Confucian thought were all deeply influenced by his family.First of all, he inherited his father’s thought and believed that Neo Confucianism need to return to Ancient Classics from Cheng Zhu,also advocated the thought of "real".Secondly,he was influenced by the book " YaLun ",wrote by his grandfather, so he mainly studied the Han poem and Tang poem,at the same time,required the way to write poetry should be strict.And what poetic style he like was magnificent and graceful.thirdly,because of his thought and life experience,what he wrote were often expressed the lonely feeling like losing country,The pain of leaving home and not going back,the discontent with the cruel reality and the grief of having unrecognized talents and so on.finally,his poetry often presented a tragic and desolate style,the cold and profound poetic imagery.At the same time,his poetry language was ancient and unadorned.This paper makes an comprehensive discussion in terms of the Confucian thought, the poetry theory,the poetry thought connotation and the poetry artistic features on the basis of combing his life experiences and the versions of his works by the method of combining poetry and history, the text interpretation, and with the appendixes Chronicle, Collecting Lost Works Written by Fei XiHuang,Compilation of relevant data,so that we can be more accurate in finding his position in early Qing dynasty.
