Achille-Claude Debussy is the landmark figure in the "impressionism" music area at the era from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. Also he was an influential composer and musical innovator at that time in Europe. The "Suite BERGAMASQUE" which was composed in 1890, belongs to Debussy's early works. The piano suite sees the early impressionism music artistic characteristics. In this paper, the writer will let the reader to understand what she refers to more easily by using the analogy and other research methods, combing with Debussy life experience and background information, analyzing the means of musical expression, such as the tonality layout, structure, melody, harmony, texture body of the piano works "suite BERGAMASQUE" which combined with more specific forms of painting, exploring common freehand characteristics of painting, music and other art forms. The writer hopes that readers can understand the piano works more completely from a different angle through this paper.
