The Senmantic Analysis And Culture Interpretation Of "Shen" And The Words Include It

The semantic of "shen" is very rich in China. It reflectes the basic attituse and values of traditional Chinese on life and practice. This paper references to the meaning of "shen " in three dictionaries, then do some research on its senmantic. Based on this, it also analyzes the theories of "shen" in the respresentative works of Confucianism, Taoism, Mohism, in an attempt to clarify the senmantic development and the cultural connotation of "shen", providing reference for the attitude on "shen" of contemporary social and research on consumer attitude of "shen" and make an important significance on the culture of "shen" in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.
