The Study Of The Film Language For Telling A Dream

Dreams are always related to films, they have a lot in common, so dreams can be the creative element for filmmakers to make film, so a lot of classic films about dreams show up. While traditional genre film never defines it, so this article will define 'dream film' as the films' subjects mainly about dream, fantasy or illusion, such as 'Smultronstallet', 'Mulholland Drive','Inception', etc. My graduation film'Lying the way I dream' tries to convey some current interacition problems among people living in the modern life through a girl's love affair issue. As the title shows, the film could be a dream, also, it could be a lie. However, no matter what it is, the content and the form of the film will be more like a dream, because both dream and lie can be mesmerizing. This article will do some research about film language on that issue, so as to reveal the meaning and the expression of this film.
