| Class activities play an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Well-designed class activities create ideal teaching environments, and thus are good for improving teaching efficiency. The author of this paper has been a Chinese teacher in Sinmyeong Senior High School in Daegu, South Korea, and has designed class activities for the Korean students which are discussed in this paper. The characters of teaching Chinese in that country have also been analyzed here.The author has applied what she has learned into designing class activities for students of Grade Two of Sinmyeong Senior High School who are majoring in humanities and taking Chinese classes. She has asked students to finish questionnaires before working out those activities plans which are mainly based on their textbooks. The activities have been carried out in the classes under instructions of two teachers. At the end of the paper, the author puts forward advice for such activities which she hopes will be of help to teaching Chinese in senior high schools in South Korea. |
