A Survey Of Undergraduate Teaching Program Of TCSOL

TCSOL(Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language) is a new and developing major which emerging in line with the international Chinese teaching. The goal of TCSOL major is focus on Chinese teaching or related work.Training program is according to all majors and levels of universities' training goals and the objects,it's specific plan and scheme..High quality of Chinese teaching is dependent on the high quality of Chinese teacher,Building a strong comprehensive ability's Chinese teacher is the important way of the output of Chinese language and Chinese culture In order to improve China's foreign language teaching career's quality, conform to the world's thirst for the knowledge of Chinese language and Chinese culture, is the inevitable trend to strengthen the ability of training of TCSOL training program. TCSOL is a new major in many universities, all training units are improving and exploring more scientific and reasonable TCSOL training program.This thesis is divided into six parts:The first part briefly summarizes the development of TCSOL, the urgent needs of countries and explain the significance of this paper.The second part analysis four universities' training objectives, training Specifications, course type and curriculum,intend to found the main problem of the training programs.The third part statistics the curriculum satisfaction, course content, training and other aspects, analysis and found the problems in the issue.The fourth part combined the second part and the third part, making some suggestions about training objectives and training specifications, curriculum setting, adjust measures to local conditions, highlighting features and strengthening teaching practice,aim to perfect TCSOL training program are also proposed.The fifth part summarized that all schools should be clear to the cultivation of students' political view and values,In terms of curriculum, reasonable arrangement of foreign-language classes, trying to cultivate the students' Chinese talent, strengthen cross-cultural communication courses, attaches great importance to the basic teaching ability training courses, and try their best to increase the students' practice's opportunity.In my sphere of competence, I compared the four universities teaching program,sent questionnaires to the students.After the questionnaires, I analysis the data. During the writing process, I combined the training program of text analysis and curriculum feedback. Discovering and trying to solve the problems training program.In order to improve TCSOL training program, further promote TCSOL development and cultivate more excellent international Chinese teachers.
