The Study Of Traditional Huangmei Proverbs

Chinese proverb is a kind of folk popular statements and occupies an important part of the language of the traditional Huangmei Opera.This paper makes a comprehensive description and analysis of the proverbs in the traditional Huangmei Opera,which includes ontology research,rhetoric research,cultural connotation research and creation research.The introduction part gives a brief overview of the proverbs' research status,the research objectives,the significance of the research,the research methods and where this paper stems from.The first chapter is to define the concept of proverb,and to analyze the structure in two aspects: the form and the meaning.The second chapter is about the rhetoric research of the proverbs.The proverbs' phonetic rhetoric,vocabulary rhetoric,grammatical rhetoric and the figures of speech are all discussed in this part.The third chapter mainly discusses the rational meaning and color meaning of the proverbs.The fourth chapter,based on the speech act theory,analyzes various significance of speech acts in traditional Huangmei Opera.The fifth chapter discusses the cultural connotation of traditional Huangmei proverbs from the angle of cultural linguistics.The sixth chapter is about the effects of the proverbs in the drama creation.This part unfolds from four aspects: the characterization of the characters,the improvement of the language persuasion,the enhancement of the expressive force the language and the promotion of the dramas' interestingness.The conclusion part points out the innovation and deficiency of this paper.
