The author in teaching Chinese as a foreign language very early exposure to "and" the meaning and usage. Similarly, in the back of the teaching "and" have appeared as a supplement of the phrase structure representation. However, I found that in the actual communication, "and" has conjunctions of feature is widely used to connect words, phrases, clauses and sentences, express a parallel relationship. In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, due to the teacher's explanation is not comprehensive, single method, textbooks and reference books in explaining inappropriate, understanding of students is not thorough and so on reason, leading to Chinese learners to master the grammatical meaning and usage.In this paper on the basis of previous research, starting from the syntactic features, discourse function, acquisition and errors, teaching materials and reference books analysis and other aspects, the HSK dynamic composition corpus and research college search overseas students of Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials, types of errors for collection and classification, students to understand the causes of errors, design better learning "and" teaching methods help students overcome learning difficulties, make the foreign students in learning, life right, freely use. Finally, combined with the investigation and analysis of the results to prepare lesson plans, to provide some suggestions for the future of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and teaching materials writing, but also for the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language on their own modest.
