Comparative Research Of Cultural Meaning Of Chinese And Kazakh Color Words And Ways Of Teaching

We live in the world,where each thing has own color.Every color has different meaning,we often use color words to explain life situations or feelings at the moment.Meaning of color words depends on diversity of countries' cultures.Both of Kazakh and Chinese color words have rich culture and history.At the same time we have many facts of difference in color words' meanings in using such as national cultures,different language traditions,custom and human feelings,geographical location and the influence of religion.For Kazakh students,studying Chinese there is a big problem to communicate with local people,which are using color words in conversation.It comes because Kazakh students don't know Chinese color words' history and culture and have some misunderstanding.That's why the comparative research and semantic analyzing in these two languages is very important.Tracing"????"(“Shuowen Jiezi”),?????????????,Old Turkic Dictionary-Makhmud Kashgari,the Turkic Dictionary(Diwanu Lughatat-Turk)we use for reference previous research results in the theory of second language acquisition field,mainly focusing on Kazakh students who study Chinese.We interviewed and tested them,finding and analyzing the main problems of using Chinese color words by Kazakh students and their reasons.We used data statistical analysis methods and gave some recommendations for teaching ways,which are discussed in this paper.
