Color is a natural phenomenon, the nation's understanding of a variety of colors and large the same. However, due to the geographical environment, local customs, ways of thinking, religion, ethnic and psychological factors, various color words for people of different nationalities had no cultural meaning.Two languages are subject to the influence of ancient theory of five elements, the formation of the initial color words. In this paper, the basic element of colored "red, yellow, green, black and white " as the center of Korean and Chinese language color words were compared to identify the two languages in terms of similarities and differences of color words. In this paper, the morphological characteristics of the color words and the cultural symbolism of the two aspects were analyzed. The structure consists of four parts.The first chapter is an introduction. This section focuses on the research purpose, significance, previous research, the research scope and method of composition.The second chapter has two parts. First discusses the five elements and colors that the relationship between language settings. Because the introduction of color words by reference to the color elements, namely hue, value, chroma three elements.The third comparison is the morphological characteristics. The first language of Korean and Chinese language morphological characteristics of color discussed separately. And then use the method to contrast the similarities and differences on the two languages. The forth comparison is comparative study of cultural symbols each color of each word as the center to introduce the color in Korean and Chinese languages in the culture with symbolic meaning. Then compared the main basic color words by meaning, positive meaning, meaning the three aspects of negative comparative analysis.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part.South Korea and China on Comparative Study of color words, to understand the language features of different languages and cultural differences, not only to help resolve cu(?)ral conflicts, but also for language translation research and the promotion of cultural exchange, in particular, has a second language learning Positive significance and role.
