Although the fictions of Jorge Luis Borges are unrestrained and full of imagination, we can indistinctly see his own life experience.Starting from the perspective of identity and narrative and through analyzing the novel texts of Jorge Luis Borges, this paper made a study on his autobiographical writing. The paper’s content structure is roughly divided into three parts:The introduction summarized the research status of Jorge Luis Borges at home and abroad, analyzed the research value of his autobiographical writing, as well as the paper’s significance and research characteristics.The first part is a presentation of autobiographical writing of Jorge Luis Borges. It focused on discussing his autobiographical views, and starting from his mostly representative fictions, it found out the link between novel content and life experience from the perspective of figures and themes, and it arranged the text in detail and found out the evidence of autobiographical writing. The second part expounded the intention of his autobiographical writing, and starting from his mostly representative fictions, it explored his intention of autobiography writing, including the effect of family, love,life experience, philosophical thought, political stance on his autobiographical writing,and then it probed into the influence of his identity on his novel creation. The third part elaborated the identity construction of autobiographical writing.
