The thesis mainly studies enigmatic language vocabulary and elaborates on it from the following five chapters.Firstly, the introduction mainly states the novel, enigmatic language, significance, methods and Reference.Secondly, according to linguistic classification of corpora in the novel, the thesis summarizes and analyses structure of corpora from pronunciation, grammar, rhetoric in detail. Also, readers can visually understand the text corpora with statistical data.Thirdly, this part sets forth the evolution of the text corpora. a discussion with the relationship of enigmatic language,dialect and common language is made. Additionally,the etymology of enigmatic language corpora are classified and discussed from a diachronic perspective. What's more, expounding the development, evolution and result of the corpora on the basis of specific words.Fourthly, as the essential supplement, cultural connotation and value orientation of names that contain enigmatic language are explored in depth. Besides,the thesis analyses the custom, thinking mode, national culture and so on with the methods of Chinese custom semantics and folk linguistics.Fifthly, trying to modify inappropriate paraphrase of dictionary. The object is Vernacular Novels Language Dictionary written by Bai Weiguo.Combining with the views of other scholars and literature, to modify the inappropriate paraphrase.
