Imaging Evaluation Of Early Hepatic Alveolar Echinococcosis Treated With Microwave Ablation

Objective:To analyze the changes of CT and MRI features of the lesions after microwave ablation in patients with early hepatic cell type.Methods:Thirty-eight patients with early hepatic cell-type microwave ablation were collected from CT plain scan,MRI plain scan and DWI in our hospital.The preoperative examination time and postoperative re-examination time were divided into four groups:preoperative,postoperative 3 months,postoperative 6 months,and 1 year postoperatively.MRI images were used to assess the changes of the maximum diameter of the lesions before and after ablation,the marginal band of the lesion and the value of the real part ADC.A further 30 normal controls were collected to measure the value of the liver real part ADC and compare with the ADC value of the edge band of the lesion.Results:1.The number of calcification in the lesion was:34.2%,52.6%and78.9%,respectively,in 3 months,6 months and 1 year after operation.With the extension of the review time,the proportion of the number of calcifications increased gradually.2.The maximum diameter of the lesion was changed:preoperatively,3months after operation,the maximum diameter of the lesion was?3.36±1.22?cm,?3.35±1.24?cm,?3.25±1.11?cm,?3.19±1.23?cm in 1 year after operation,and the lesion was gradually decreased in June and 1 year after operation.1.The ADC value of the marginal band of the lesion was changed:?1.14±0.07?x10^-3mm²/s,?1.28±0.12?x10^-3mm²/s,?1.35±0.06?x10^-3mm²/s,?1.46±0.05?x10^-3mm²/s,?1.46±0.05?x10^-3mm²/s,?1.46±0.05?x10^-3mm²/s,and there was no statistical difference between normal liver tissue and 1 year after operation.3.Changes of ADC value in the real part of the lesion:The ADC values increased gradually before and after operation.The ADC values were?1.98±0.16?x10^-3mm²/s,?2.34±0.62?x10^-3mm²/s,?2.47±0.21?x10^-3mm²/s,?2.66±0.17?x10^-3m m²/s,respectively.Conclusion:CT plain scan,MRI plain scan and DWI imaging are of great significance to evaluate the effect of microwave ablation in the treatment of early stage hepatic cell disease.
