Study On The Operation Effect Evaluation Of Medical-nursing Combined Care Institutions For The Aged In Yinchuan

Background:The medical-nursing combined care for the aged has proven to be an important mode to solve the problem of aging population in China under the development strategy of healthy aging.To promote the comprehensive development of medical-nursing combined care for the aged in Yinchuan City of Ningxia,this study conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the operating effects of different types of medical-nursing combined care institutions for the aged in Yinchuan City.Objective:This study conducted a comprehensive evaluation the operation effect of six typical medical-nursing combined care for the aged institutions in Yinchuan City.Effectiveness and problems of medical-nursing combined care for the aged in Yinchuan are analyzed.Finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to optimize medical-nursing combined care for the aged in Yinchuan respectively from the perspective of government and institutions.Methods:To investigate related subjects of medical-nursing combined care for the aged,field investigation and interview method are adopted.With descriptive analysis analyzing operation status of typical medical-nursing combined care for the aged institutions in Yinchuan.The evaluation index system in Yinchuan is established by literature analysis and expert consultation Delphy Method.Comprehensive analysis method is used to rank the results of survey data in a comprehensive way.Results:1.Empirical analysis of the operation effect evaluation system of medical-nursing combined care for the aged institutions in Yinchuan.From questionnaire surveys with the elderly in 6 institutions,main characteristics are found as following: The overall performance rating of the six typical institutions in Yinchuan was “good”,The results of the comprehensive evaluation of 6 institutions are: Xingqing District Center for the Retirement of the Elderly > Ningxia Yuehai Pension Center> Ningxia Workers' Nursing Home> Tanglai Aged Care Center> Affectionate Family Apartment > Chaoyang Senior Apartment.2.The problems existing in the operation of Yinchuan medical-nursing combined care for the aged institutions.There is an idleness of medical resources in the field of medical-nursing combined care for the aged.The service supply of continuity is insufficient.Satisfactions are low in evaluation of medical-nursing combined care,as well as the problems of insufficiency of normative of medical-nursing combined care for the aged in private institutions.And the lack of medical and nursing professionals in nursing home institutions.Suggestions:1.The government point of view: Perfecting the laws and strengthening department co-ordination and government supervision,etc.2.The institutions point of view: Defining organization and improving institutional facilities,etc.
