Clinical Observation Of Gangshu Lotion In Rehabilitation Of Mixed Hemorrhoid After Operation

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of Gangshu Lotion in rehabilitation of mixed hemorrhoids after operation,and its effect on the change of prostaglandin E₂?PGE₂?content in serum,in order to explore its possible analgesic mechanism.Methods:Sixty patients with mixed hemorrhoid plan to Inpatient operation of anorectal department in Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College from January to July in 2017.In the order of hospitalization were selected and divided into the experimental group?A?and the control group?B?by random number table,with 30 cases in each group.Sixty patients were treated by Milligan-Morgan operation.After operation,the experimental group were treated by fumigation and sitz bath with self-made Gangshu lotion.The control group were treated by fumigation and sitz bath with povidone,both group treated by fumigation and sitz bath until the wounds healed.All patients were assessde about wound pain,edema,hemafecia,on the first day,3rd and 5th day after operation,and the levels of serum PGE₂ were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The average time of edema regression was?4.57±2.71?days in the experimental group,and the average healing time was?11.33±1.18?days in the experimental group,which was shorter than that in the control group?6.13±3.06?days and?14.05±1.14?days,with statistically significant,?P<0.05?.On the 5th day after operation,the scores of blood in the experimental group?1.10±0.99?were significantly lower than those in the control group?1.53±0.57?,with statistically significant,?P<0.05?.Intragroup comparison,compared with the first day,the pain score and serum PGE₂ level increased on the 3rd and5th day after operation.But the increase range of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group,with statistically significant,?P<0.05?.Conclusion:Gangshu lotion can effectively improve the early rehabilitation of mixed hemorrhoid after operation.The analgesic mechanism may be related to the decrease of the levels of serum PGE₂.
