The Nursing Model For Urology Short-stay Unit Of Transurethral Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy Based On Enhanced Recovery After Surgery

Objective: Based on enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS),to implement the perioperative ERAS nursing interventions,and implement the rapid turnover processes and pathways of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy(URL)for the patients with ureteral calculi,to investigate the safety and effectiveness,to discuss the nursing model for short-stay unit(SSU)of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy and provide new ideas on establishment of urology short-stay unit for ureteral calculi.Methods: For the patients with ureteral calculi who admitted to urology department of Lanzhou university second hospital in July 2017 to December 2017,to implement the perioperative ERAS nursing interventions,and implement the rapid turnover processes and pathways of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy for the experimental group,the patients undergone the clinical pathway of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy from January 2017 to June 2017 as the control group,to investigate the safety of perioperative ERAS nursing interventions and the effectiveness of rapid turnover processes and pathways.Results: The vital signs on the four different time points(while admission,end of surgery,on the 6th and 24 th hour of postoperative),there were differences between each index at different time points,no difference between experimental group and control group;The experimental group NRS for pain at time point of surgery completed are higher than control group(P < 0.01);The length of postoperative hospital stay and overall hospital stay of the experimental group were shorter than control group(P < 0.01);The perioperative complications and postoperative discomfort reactions were no difference between groups;There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the satisfaction of the nursing model for urology short-stay unit(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The perioperative ERAS nursing interventions of transurethral ureteroscopic lithotripsy were safe,meanwhile the rapid turnover processes and pathways were effective,shorten the length of postoperative hospital stay and overall hospital stay,and at the same time which could improve patient satisfaction of the nursing model for urology short-stay unit,it is possible to establish the urology shortstay unit of ureteral calculi.
