Comparison Of The Efficacy Of Rigid Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy With NTrap And Flexible Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy In The Treatment Of Hyper-upper Ureteral Calculi

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of rigid ureteroscopic lithotripsy and flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy in the treatment of hyper-upper ureteral calculi.Methods We make a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 74 patients with successfully treating unilateral hyper-upper ureteral stone from January 2013 to January2018,and the operation method was only ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy with NTrap or flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy.Among 74 cases,36 underwent ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy with NTrap,38 underwent flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy.After confirming the two sets of data sharing the same appearance on gender,age,and the size of the stone,we took them no statistical difference.Compare and analyze the procedure time,one-time stone-clearance rate,postoperative hospitalization days,the incidence of serious complications,and after-the-first-ureterolithotripsy stone free rate(SFR).In our research,the comparison methods dealing normal distribution data set involved t test,and comparison methods dealing the skewness distribution data set involved the chi-square test or Fisher's exact probability method.Difference was statistically significant when P<0.05.Results the procedure time of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy with NTrap and flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy were respectively(39.44±21.35)min and(48.21±24.28)min,one-time stone-clearance rate were respectively 97.22%(35/36)and 94.74%(36/38),postoperative hospitalization days were respectively(2.25±0.77)d and(2.24±1.03)d,after-the-first-ureterolithotripsy SFR were respectively 97.22%(35/36)and 100%(38/38),severe complication in these cases did not occur.Conclusion After compared with flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy,it is not difficult for us to make a conclusion that the similar effectiveness of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy with NTrap and flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy when treating hyper-upper ureteral stone.Therefore,when it comes to hyper-upper ureteral stone with a good condition of ureter and no kidney stones of operation side,ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy with NTrap is an alternative solution of flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy.
