objective To systematically review the effectiveness and safety ofureteroscopic lithotripsy combinde with NTrap for proximal ureteralcalculi.Method All randomized clinical trials and case-controlled studies ofNTrap during Ureterolithotripsy for proximal ureteral stones wereidentified with PubMed、Cochrane Librily、Embase、WangFang and CNKI.The quality assessment of literatrues, and data extraction wereindependently performed by two reviewers. Meta analysis was performedwith Revman5.0.Outcome We collected2randomized trails and2case-controlledstudies involing682patients.The meta-analysis showed that:(1) the NTrapgroup demonstrated a significant advantage over the control group in termsof the stone-free rate(OR=4.28,95%CI:2.51~7.28,P<0.00001);(2) theincidence of stone migration, auxiliary lithotripsy and complicationrates were significantly lower in the NTrap group than control group(OR=0.09,95%CI:0.01~0.62,P=0.01;OR=0.18,95%CI:0.05~0.67, P=0.01;OR=0.41,95%CI:0.17~0.97,P=0.04);(3)There was no statisticaldifference in mean operation time between the two groups(WMD=-0.09,95%CI:-10.25~10.06,P=0.99).Conclusion The results of this meta-analysis indicated that theureteroscopic lithotripsy with NTrap for upper ureteral stones had higherstone-free rate、 lower incidence of stone migration and auxiliarylithotripsy than the ureteroscopic lithotripsy without NTrap。...
