The symptoms of the pectus excavatum with scoliosis are lower half of the sternum deforming inwardly,which is the result of abnormal and unbalanced growth of costal cartilage connecting each of the ribs and sternum.Costal cartilage does not normally grow inward.This growth pattern will push the sternum back resulting in scoliosis.Patients usually have pectus excavatum and some degree of scoliosis,which is medically pectus excavatum with scoliosis.As the child grows,the deformity will become more serious.Some reports of the pectus excavatum with scoliosis show that they have symptoms,which are not present in normal children,such as chest pain,shortness of breath or limited endurance exercise,Surgery may not alleviate thoracic pain.Current research has shown that the depression of the sternum can limit the size of the chest,which can lead to difficulty in endurance exercise or strenuous exercise.At the same time,the hollow sternum also limits the heart and impedes the blood flow to the heart.Some patients also suffer emotional and psychological confusion,especially for teenager.The defects of the pectus excavatum will increase during adolescence,at which point the child can easily be isolated.With the development of medical technology and the efforts of medical experts,the pectus excavatum with scoliosis can get improvement by correcting depression thorax.More importantly,these have no effects about cardio-pulmonary function and life.The the pectus excavatum can have a complete and normal life.This article describes the condition and the impact of pectus excavatum with scoliosis,its orthopedic methods at home and abroad and summarizes.The research significance of this topic is the development of a new type of mini-mover correction surgical procedure for the pectus excavatum.The method of correction surgery was changed from one-step correction surgery to multi-step correction surgery,which provides a new option for clinic and alleviates pain because of one-step correction surgery.This article introduces the concept of mechanical mini-mover correction surgical procedure of pectus excavatum with scoliosis and surgical method.We have drew surgical instruments for mini-mover correction surgical procedure,such as the orthopedic plate,the design of the holder and the translator,the design of the wearer’s breastplate and the plate bender,the mouse experimental stent.We completed the preparation of correction tools and mouse stent.In this paper,the three-dimensional simplified solid model of pectus excavatum with scoliosis was numerically simulated,The main application Mechanostat theory: less than200με bone will be reabsorbed.When it is more than 200με or less than 1000με,the amount of bone resorption and the amount of new bone formation remain relatively balanced.In1000-3000με range,it will increase bone mass and strength.Over 3000με,it will enter the overload zone and result in the accumulation of bone damage to reduce bone strength.According to the theory of bone growth,we will simulate mechanical mini-mover correction surgical procedure of pectus excavatum with scoliosis.In this paper,we did the SD rats experiment.We will study comparative proof.Before the start of the experiment,all rats were subjected to Micro-CT scanning and 3D printing of the rat thorax model to observe the sternum,rib structure.We were performed to observe bone growth by Micro-CT.
