Objective: to investigate the cognition of 514 female college students in Xinjiang Medical University,Xinjiang University,Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics and Xinjiang Agricultural University on the cervical cancer and its risk factors.In order to improve college students' awareness of cervical cancer and its high risk factors,and to provide theoretical basis for effective health education in schools and families in the future.Methods: a cross-sectional survey was conducted among female students in Xinjiang Medical University,Xinjiang University,Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics,and Xinjiang Agricultural University by stratified cluster sampling.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 514 female college students about cervical cancer.Results:According to the results of questionnaire survey and related data analysis,we know that94.74% subjects have heard of cervical cancer,and 56.8% female college students know the significance of regular check-up.14.98% of the respondents think that HPV infection is a high risk factor.42.8% subjects knew that hpv infection was an important cause of cervical cancer.19.45% of the respondents knew that HPV infection could cause genital warts in men and women,and 19.26% knew that HPV could be transmitted sexually.60.89% respondents thought it was necessary to have an annual check.However,only10.5% respondents thought that liquid-based cell or HPV examination was the screening method for cervical cancer.0.77% knew about HPV vaccine.44.55% of the knowledge about cervical cancer came from relatives,friends,friends and relatives.8.56% came from television,4.86% from magazines and 16.53%.From other.Cervical cancer awareness rate in the professional,There was a significant difference in household registration among grades(p < 0.05).The awareness rate of cervical cancer in medical specialty was significantly higher than that in non-medical major in 99.00%,while that in urban studentswas 98.21,which was significantly higher than that in rural students(92.07%);with the increase of grade,the rate of awareness of cervical cancer in urban students was 98.21,which was significantly higher than that of rural students.Cervical cancer awareness rate gradually increased.HPV awareness rate in professional,household registration,There was significant difference in age(p < 0.05).The awareness rate of HPV in medical specialty was significantly higher than that in non-medical major in 61.00%,and that in urban students was 48.66,which was significantly higher than that in rural students.The awareness rate of HPV in female university was gradually increased with the increase of age.The willingness to have sex before marriage,There were 25.68% female students who had sex life and 34.63% female college students agreed to premarital sexual behavior.The awareness rate of HPV vaccine was significantly higher than that of non-medical students(P < 0.05).The awareness rate of HPV vaccine in medical specialty was significantly higher than that in non-medical major(4.00%%).Conclusion: college students have a serious lack or even wrong understanding of HPV and its related knowledge.The results of this investigation show that the rate of HPV prophylaxis vaccine in college students is low.The reason may be that there is a relatively single source of knowledge about cervical cancer,and there is a need to strengthen the knowledge of HPV and cervical cancer in schools and families.In particular,the family needs sex education.And the major television media need to promote programs on health care knowledge so that women can correctly understand the dangers of cervical cancer and cervical cancer,attach importance to cervical cancer,and understand the pain caused by cervical cancer to women.To do regular screening,regular outpatient follow-up,and the female students to take the initiative to learn preventive health care knowledge,improve awareness of self-protection.
