Objectives : The relationship between the CYP19A1 gene polymorphism and the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease is unclear.This study was to investigate the relationship between CYP19A1 gene polymorphisms and coronary artery disease in postmenopausal women of Han and Uygur.Methods: Among a total of 444 postmenopausal Chinese women,238 were Han,206 Uygur subjects were divided into two groups according to the duration of menopause(Menopausal time<10 years or Menopausal time≥10 years).The multiple connection detection reaction reaction(iMLDR)technique was used to detect three SNP(rs3217422.rs 700518 and rs700519)were genotyped.Based on GC-2016 γ,the levels of estradiol(E2)and testosterone(T)were determined by radioimmunoassay.The level of P450 aromatase in serum was determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results: The genotyping of rs700519 was found in Han postmenopausal women of nationality and the population with menopausal time ≥10 years,both Dominant model and additive model in CAD and control differences were statistically significant.(both P <0.05).It was also found that AA,dominant model and additive model were associated with coronary heart disease,adjusted confounding factors.(OR=2.40,95% CI:1.14-5.04,P=0.021,OR=0.45,95% CI: 0.22-0.94,P=0.033,OR=2.49,95% CI:1.86-5.22,P=0.016).The correlation between estradiol,aromatase and coronary heart disease is statistically significant.After interaction analysis,Dominant model with diabetes mellitus,the levels of the estradiol and aromatase were correlated with coronary artery disease.(OR=1.40,95% CI:1.02-1.93,P=0.037,OR=0.95,95% CI: 0.93-0.98,P=0,OR=0.992,95% CI:0.990-0.994,P=0).The rs700519 genotyping,Dominant model and additive model in CAD and control differences were statistically significant in Uygur postmenopausal time ≥10years.(both P <0.05).It was also found that AA,dominant model and additive model were associated with coronary heart disease,adjusted confounding factors.(OR=0.08,95% CI:0.01-0.66,P=0.018,OR=13.14,95% CI: 1.74-99.01,P=0.012,OR=0.09,95% CI:0.01-0.72,P=0.023)The correlation between estradiol,aromatase and coronary heart disease is statistically significant.After interaction analysis,Dominant model with hypertension,diabetes mellitus,Menopause time and testosterone level were correlated with coronary heart disease(OR=1.31,95% CI:1.01-1.70,P=0.049,OR=2.13,95% CI:1.51-3.02,P=0,OR=1.46,95% CI:1.11-1.91,P=0.006,OR=3.90,95% CI:1.24-12.27,P=0.020).Conclusion: the rs700519 of CYP19A1 gene in Han and Uygur postmenopausal women in Xinjiang area of China is related to the occurrence of coronary heart disease and the level of circulating sex hormone.rs700519 and hypertension.Diabetes,menopausal time has an interaction.
