Objective:This paper discusses the impact of the levels of air pollutants in Wuhan City on the cases of respiratory diseases for child outpatientMethod:The clinical data of daily outpatient for respiratory diseases in children in Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 1st,2015 to December 31st,2016 is collected, and the data of air pollutants and meteorological data during the same period. The Spearman correlation is used to analyze the correlation between the air pollutants and relative humidity and average temperature. The generalized additive model?GAM?is used to control the factors such as the day of the week, meteorological factors, and statutory holidays to build the model of air pollutants and the amount of outpatient for upper and lower respiratory diseases, and diseases of respiratory system in children.Result:The concentration of O3&average temperature,CO&relative humidity are positively correlated, the others are all negatively correlated. In the cumulative lag effect, when air pollutant concentration raises by one IQR,there is an increase in outpatient amount for respiratory disease, which respectively isPM2.5?lag0:4?1.78%?95%CI:0.12%3.46%?,PM10?lag0:5?3.48%?95%CI:0.49%6.56%?,NO2?lag0:5?6.59%?95%CI:3.75%9.52%?,CO?lag0:5?3.27%?95%CI:0.02%6.63%?,SO2?lag0:5?3.66%?95%CI:0.62%6.80%?and O3?lag0:4?2.65%?95%CI:0.03%5.29%?,the risk ER for outpatient amount reaches the highest at lag4 to 5 for all these six air pollutants. There is no significant correlation between the outpatient amount for lower respiratory tract diseases and O3?P>0.05?.Conclusion:The concentration increase of urban air pollutants results in the increase in outpatient amount for respiratory diseases in children. The condition of the air pollution is to be improved that the relevant departments should strengthen surveillance and prevention in order to reduce the prevalence rate of respiratory diseases in children.
