Comparison Of The Clinical Effects Of Two Surgical Methods In The Treatment Of Abdominal Incisional Hernia

Objective:Comparative analysis of the clinical efficacy of two kinds of repair of peritoneal anterior space(Sublay)and ventral anterior placement(Onlay)in inci-sional hernia of abdominal wall.Methods:A retrospective study was carried out o-n 53 patients who underwent incisional hernia repair with Sublay hernioplasty or O-nlay hernioplasty between January 2008 to September 2016 in The Second Affiliat-ed Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.The patient were divided into two gro-ups:Sublay group(28)and Onlay group(25).The including age,BMI,defect s-ize,operation time,complications and postoperative hospital stay were compared b-etween the two groups.The t test was used for com-parison of continuous data a-nd?~2 test was used for comparison of enumerationat-a between groups.Results:There was no significant difference between the two groups in age,BMI and de-fect size.The In Sublay group,the operation time was(106.8±12.51)min,the in-traoperative bleeding was(49.45±9.92)ml,the postoperative hospitalization time(5.46±1.71)d,the incision infection was 1 case(3.5%)and the intestinal obstructi-on was 1 case(3.5%).In Oublay group,the operation time was(94.06±10.87)m-in,the amout of bleeding was(49.45±9.92)ml,the postoperative hospitalization ti-me(5.64±2.38)d,the seroma was 5 cases(20%),the incision infection was 2 c-ase(8%)and the recurrence was 1 case(3.5%).The Onlay group was slightly be-tter than the Sublay group in the operation time and intraoperative bleeding volum-e,But the Sublay group was significantly superior to the Onlay group in the seru-m swelling.There were no statistically significantly differences in postoperative hos-pital stay,postoperative incision infection,recurrence and intestinal obstruction.Co-nclusions:Both Sublay and Onlay are the operative treatment methods for abdome-nal incisional hernia,but the Sublay group has more advantages than the Onlay gr-oup in the postoperative complications which affect the patient's postoperative life quality,it is preferable to sublay operation method under the condition of indicatio-ns,but for each patient,it is needed to combine patient's condition and operator's expertise to chose a reasonable surgical treatment plan.
