Impact Of Preoperative Ureteral Stenting Time On Outcome Of Flexible Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy

Objective: To assess the impact of preoperative ureteral stenting and retention time on outcome of flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy.Methods: The clinic data of flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy were analyzed retrospectively.All 309 eligible patients were divided into five group depending on Double-J retention time : goup A(N≤3 days),group B(preoperative ureteral stenting for 3 days <N≤7 days),group C(preoperative ureteral stenting for 7 days <N≤14 days);group D(preoperative ureteral stenting for14days<N),group E(no preoperative ureteral stenting).Postoperative complications,stone free rates,operation time,and 13 variables were compared among the five groups.Results:The study of gender,age,previous medical history,underlying diseases,body weight,diameter of stones,intraoperative ureteroscopic sheath model,intraoperative blood loss,preoperative blood,postoperative hospital days,postoperative complications,postoperative no Stone rate,hospitalization costs and other 13 variables univariate analysis using SPSS23.0 statistical software,measurement data with mean ± standard deviation,count data to the number of cases(percentage)said.Univariate analysis of measurement data using independent samples t test,count data univariate analysis using χ2 test.P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.There were statistically significant differences in five factors(P<0.05).such as preoperative blood picture,postoperative complications,postoperative stoneless rate,operation time and hospitalization cost.The five groups were statistically significant(P= 0.009;OR = 0.06),preoperative blood(P<0.001;OR = 3.50),operation time(min)and postoperative blood loss were analyzed by multivariate analysis and logistic regression.(P= 0.011;OR = 0.99)and other three factors were statistically significant(P<0.05),is an independent factor of comprehensive impact.Conclusion:Prior to fURS,double-J tube was placed beforehand to improve the success rate of one-time placement of soft-lens channel sheath and to reduce the operation time,improve the stoneless rate after operation,reduce the occurrence of intraoperative and postoperative complications,and successfully complete the operation.Double-J tube 7-14 days can make preoperative fURS more fully and effectively improve the safety of surgery,surgery can be completed in the shortest time,postoperative recovery fast.
