The Clinical Curative Effect Of Electroacupuncture In The Treatment Of Chronic Itching And Its Effects On IL-6 And IP-10 Content

Objective:Chronic itching is a huge unsolved health problem,affecting 20%of people around the world^[1].However,at present there is no effective treatment to solve this situation.Electroacupuncture treatment as a traditional Chinese medicine technology,has been widely used in clinical treatment of patients with chronic itch.This study was designed to observe the clinical effect of different frequency electroacupuncture in the treatment of chronic itchy by comparing electroacupuncture and conventional western medicine to alleviate the itching of chronic itching and to study its effect on plasma IL-6 and IP-10 concentration in chronic itchy patients,And to demonstrate the clinical effect of electroacupuncture atching and to seek the best frequency of itching,and explore the possible mechanism of electroacupuncture to improve chronic itching in order to achieve a rich electrocardiotherapy for the treatment of chronic itchy clinical and improve the efficacy of electroacupuncture in the treatment of chronic itchy.Methods:A total of 35 patients with chronic itchy were recruited from Wuhan Central Hospital,Wuhan City Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,the fifth hospital of Wuhan City inpatient and outpatient.These patients are strictly in accordance with the inclusion criteria,excluding the standard to collect.Patients were divided into three groups,treatment group A,treatment group B andtreatmentgroupC.GroupA?high-frequency electro-acupuncture group?:These patients were treated with electro acupuncture therapy,acupoint:Qu chi,He gu,Xue hai,Yin lingquan.And Qu chi and He gu,Xue hai and Yin lingquan with electro acupuncture,using continuous wave,the frequency of 100Hz,wave width of 0.5ms,current intensity for the maximum intensity of the patients tolerated the treatment,after 30 minutes take the needle.Group B?low-frequency electro-acupuncture group?:These patients were treated with electro acupuncture therapy,acupoint:Qu chi,He gu,Xue hai,Yin lingquan.And Qu chi and He gu,Xue hai and Yin lingquan with electro acupuncture,using continuous wave,the frequency of 2Hz,wave width of 0.5ms,current intensity for the strength of the patients can feel in the treatment,after 30 minutes take the needle.Group C?western medicine control group?:Patients were intravenously infused with vitamin C and oral administration of loratadine tablets.Three groups of treatment once a day,5 times for a course of treatment,and all patients were treated for 2courses,after 1 courses of treatment rest 1 day.The numerical score scale?NRS?and the Itch Severity Scale?ISS?were measured before and among treatment?after five treatments?and after treatment?after ten treatments?.And the levels of IL-6 and IP-10in plasma were measured before and after treatment.We will use SPSS17.0 for statistical analysis;We will analyze the scores of NRS and ISS and the changes of IL-6 and IP-10 in plasma of patients before and after treatment,To explore the different treatment methods for the treatment of chronic itching mechanism and the different treatment methods between the comparison.Resulets:?1?There was no significant difference between the three groups after treatment?P>0.05?,indicating that the three groups were comparable;?2?NRS,ISS scores were decreased by comparing before,in and after among the three groups,there were significant differences,and this difference had statistically significant?P<0.05?.?3?There was no significant difference in plasma IL-6concentration between the three groups before and after treatment?P>0.05?.?4?There was no significant difference in plasma IP-10concentration between the three groups before and after treatment?P>0.05?.Conclusion:?1?Electro-acupuncture Quchi and Hegu,Xuehai and Yinlingquan are effective in the treatment of chronic pruritus,and it can improve the NRS and ISS scores of patients,and can improve the pruritus and quality of life in patients with chronic pruritus,and the clinical efficacy of high-frequency electroacupuncture is optimal.?2?The mechanism of antipruritic effects of electroacupuncture of Quchi and Hegu,Xuehai and Yinlingquan may not be related to the level of IL-6,which needs further study to prove.?3?The mechanism of antipruritic effects of electroacupuncture of Quchi and Hegu,Xuehai and Yinlingquan may not be related to the level of IP-10,which needs further study to prove.
