Clinical Observation On The Milli-fire-needle In Treating Postherpetic Neuralgia

ObjectiveThrough observating on the clinical efficacy of the milli-fire-needle and pregabalin in treating postherpetic neuralgia,to contrast these two therapies,to explore the effect of the milli-fire-needle on postherpetic neuralgia and a quick and effective method for the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.MethodsSixty-six eligible cases were randomly assigned to the treatment group(milli-fire-needle)and the control group(pregabali.n),33 patients in each.In the treatment group,the skin of the affected area was treated with milli-fire-needle,once every other day,three times a week,for a total of 4 weeks.The patients in the control group were given pregabalin(Lorika)orally in the morning and evening for 4 weeks.Bef'ore and after treatment,the comprehensive efficacy,visual analogue scale(VAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)of the two groups were observed and recorded.During the treatment period,adverse reactions were observed and recorded in both groups.The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0.ResultsThe age,sex,course of disease,VAS score,SDS score and PSQI score of the two groups before treatment were compared,and there was no significant difference(p>0.05),suggesting that the two groups were comparable.The VAS scores of the two groups were improved after treatment,and there was significant difference before and after treatment(p<0.05).The total scores of VAS,SDS and PSQI in the treatment group were better than those in the control group before and after treatment,with statistical difference(p<0.05).The total effective rate was 90.9%in the treatment group,and 72.7%in control group.The efficacy of the treatment in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).ConelusionPHN is a common neuropathic pain in clinic.It 1s characterized by persistent pain in the affected area after herpes zoster subsides.The milli-fire-needle can relieve the pain of PHN patients and bring a improvement of the sleep and emotional state.Compared with oral pregabalin,the effect of milli-fire-needle therapy on pain relief,sleep improvement and emotional state is more obvious,and its comprehensive effect is better.It is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
