Objective:Preliminary optimizing the treatment regimen of acupoint catgut embedding for cervicogenic headache in terms of acuponits, the angles of needling and treatment course to guide the clinical treatment.Method:80 patients with cervicogenic headache that meet the inclusion criteria are divided into 8 groups(10 for each group)randomly and scheduled for acupoint catgut embedding according to L8(2)7 orthogonal design table based on the 3 factors and 2 levels(A acuponits:1.fengchi,2.fengchi and 1 cun to the fourth cervical jiaji acupoint,B the angles of needling:1.horizontal needling,2.perpendicular needling,C treatment course:1.1 time,2.2 times).VAS weighted value score is utilized to evaluate the improvement of headache in two hours after the first treatment and one month after the total treatment course.ROM score is utilized to evaluate the improvement of the range of cervical spine in one month after the total treatment course. At the same time, the baseline situation is observed, and the adverse reactions are recorded and treated in time.Result:1.For VAS weighted value score in two hours after the first treatment, each factor from greatest to smallest is A>B>C.Factor A and B are significant factors(P<0.05)but factor C and interaction of the 3 factors are not(P>0.05).The optimization regimen is A2B2C2 or A2B2C1.2.For VAS weighted value score in one month after the total treatment course, each factor from greatest to smallest is A>B>C.Factor A,B and C are significant factors(P<0.05)but interaction of the 3 factors are not(P>0.05).The optimization regimen is A2B2C2.3.For ROM score in one month after the total treatment course, each factor from greatest to smallest is A>B>C.Factor A,B and C are significant factors(P<0.05)but interaction of the 3 factors are not(P>0.05).The optimization regimen is A2B2C2.Conclusion:For the 3 factors and 2 levels in this study:choosing fengchi and 1 cun to the fourth cervical jiaji acupoint, perpendicular needling,1 or 2 times can relatively get the best improvement for immediate analgesia, choosing fengchi and 1 cun to the fourth cervical jiaji acupoint, perpendicular needling,2 times can relatively get the best improvement for the short term headache and the range of cervical spine.Acuponits and the angles of needling are significant factors for immediate analgesia.Acuponits, the angles of needling and treatment course are significant factors for short term improvement of headache and the range of cervical spine and acuponits and the angles of needling are relatively more significant than treatment course.
